Northvolt today announced that Pia Aaltonen-Forsell joins as Chief Finance Officer and Matthias Arleth the Executive Management Team in the role of President Cells. Alexander Hartman, who has led Northvolt’s $15 billion financing as Chief Finance Officer over the past seven years, will now lead Northvolt’s recently announced company strategic review in the role of Chief Transformation Officer. Matthias Arleth’s focus will be on driving the execution of Northvolt’s growth strategy beginning with its first gigafactory in Skellefteå, Sweden, alongside taking responsibility for Northvolt’s battery cell technology R&D and production.

Both start at Northvolt during the first week of August 2024.
